This blog post is all about what I have learned so far in EDCI 232. This class has been very interesting so far, as I have learned all about Web2.0 technology and different types of blogs. While I knew about blogging and have always wanted to have a blog, I never knew what Web2.0 was. I learned that Web2.0 is the type of website in which people can participate. Examples of this are Facebook, Instagram, and Blogs. Web2.0 is how people communicate with each other over the internet.

My favorite thing that I have learned so far is that many teachers use blogs in their classroom. I mentioned in the previous paragraph that I have always been interested in blogging, so this was obviously something I was excited to learn about. There are a few blogs that I follow already that are run by teachers (on another Web2.0 program, Instagram), however they are not for their classroom, they are just about their daily lives as a teacher and they mostly post about their fashion choices to wear in their classroom, which is helpful for a student like me who is learning to become a teacher! If I continue this blog, that is what I would like my blog to consist of. I would have different sections about my life as a teacher, and my life outside of school. However, if I have a classroom blog, I would give my students and/or the parents of my students access by giving them the link to the website on their syllabus.

Overall, I have learned so much already in this class, and I am very much looking forward to what I will learn next!
